PEP members have been working on a computer simulation software for Annual Participatory Planning, called Pequod. Software developer, Mitchell Szczepanczyk, presents a new version of the software, called Pequod-Plus, which now has pollutants added to the planning procedure. This is a significant next step in demonstrating how participatory planning can generate accurate pricing of pollution in the economy, leading to environmental sustainability, a major advantage over market economies.
