Cyber Socialism in Practice – Project Cybersyn

Project Cybersyn, or ‘Cyber Socialism’, was an early attempt at democratic planning in Chile from 1971 to 1973 during the Salvador Allende government. The main goal was to use computers to do allocation of resources and to devolve decision-making power within industries to workplaces. How does Project Cybersyn relate to a Participatory Economy, and what lessons can we learn?
